SERVICE
THE LITTLE ENCHANTED PLAY HOUSE
Volunteered on Oct. 21, 2017, in theater interpreting for a production. A Deaf member from church asked me to interpret for her, as her grandchild was performing in the "Walk in the Woods". I had the pleasure of working with Heather Lemon for the first time. She has been interpreted productions for many years in the Central Valley and was a great mentor. I was able to assist her with "Spring Awakening" and "Bring IT On" at the Selma Arts Center. I was sad to have seen Heather leave. But, she has gone on to pursue other dreams.

Fresno State ASL Club
OFFICER POSITION: SECRETARY
I currently served as Secretary in our ASL Club 2017-2018 school year. Duties consisted of minutes, e-mails, marketing, and networking. I assumed my position as secretary to enhance my receptive skills. Not to mention, I have opened up emotionally and socially.
While attending COS, I joined a few clubs which included AGS (Alpha Gamma Sigma Honor Society XI Chapter): my cumulative college GPA while attending COS was 3.84. In addition, I held the position of Minutes secretary fall 2015 and held a Co-Treasurer position in spring of 2016. The second club I participated in was the ASL (American Sign Language) club at COS during the two years I attended. This club was supportive of learning the fundamentals of ASL, planning ASL events in the community, and fundraising. During my last semester, spring 2016, I with several other students, started a new club, Students Advocating for Valuable Education (S.A.V.E); the club mission was “to promote the importance of valuable education and provide members with opportunities for developing personal growth”. I held the position of Secretary during the start-up of the club.
